Community Updates - December 2, 2011

Good afternoon,
 
We are writing you as part of our Residents' Representative group to provide an update on our planned activities at 30 Weston. We ask that you share this information as you see fit.
 
We continue to work with the Ministry of Environment to complete our necessary ground improvements without an adverse effect on neighbouring properties. To do so, weather permitting, we will be conducting trial testing beginning Monday, December 5 at 8:30 a.m.
 
These trials will involve compaction activities conducted at various heights and weights, and will occur only at select points throughout the site, all under the supervision of the Ministry of the Environment. Vibration readings will be taken throughout the testing in order to confirm  vibration readings off-site and to determine the appropriate program going forward.
 
The attached provides a site map of the selected test locations as well as a letter from Geopac which outlines the most current plan of action regarding the equipment requirements, methodology, procedures and protocol reporting for ground improvement activity on-site.
